I love the fact that it maintains the purity of the traditional office layout, while in other programs everyone switches to the ribbon tabs (I particularly hate the ribbon). I just don't use Libre completely, because standard Microsoft files like DOCX and XLSX open better and look better in MS Office - LibreOffice often messes up these types of files. ![]() The improved support for CSV is really fundamental for my work, especially when I exchange data between programs and I need to make adjustments. ![]() I use LibreOffice almost daily mainly for reading and file conversion tasks, also because many companies and governments have used the OpenDocument format, which is much better worked on Libre. Formatting, special conditioning, and even many formulas will not import to LibreOffice, so cross-platforming is not possible.
